Identity

A visual language for a design studio

Mikyoung Kim originally trained as a concert pianist before studying sculpture and art history, then landscape architecture. That background in music and sculpture carries into the studio's work, which blends art and science to create restorative, health-focused landscapes.

Our design for the identity carries this same spirit, a rigorous yet organic character that balances geometric construction with softness. Structured forms bring precision and intention, while fluid, natural details echo the restorative landscapes the studio creates.

Color Pairing

Brand Color

The choice of Raisin Purple emerged from conversations around colors that would stand apart from the green typically associated with landscaping, offering both differentiation and sophistication.

Impact

MYK Studio's work already speaks for itself, restorative, research-driven landscapes shaped by decades of expertise. What the studio needed wasn't reinvention, but clarity: a brand and digital presence that communicates that expertise with the same intention as the work itself.
